There used to be a terrific restaurant, Vinus & Marc, in this location, and while I miss that place, there's a new place in this space, and it's a great place! I popped in for happy hour, warmly and graciously greeted by Jennifer, the owner. Hanging at the bar, had a couple of wonderful Old Fashioneds and some nibblies, very pleasant. The decor is tasteful, welcoming and comfortable, nice animated people at the bar, very pleasant crowd.
They've done a great job renovating the space, it's totally lovely and I wish them a full house every night.
It's in my 'hood and will quickly become my go-to place after work, and I'll be checking out the brunch deals, too. Looking forward to delving into the menu and socializing with the locals.
Thanks for reopening this location in such a classy way! -

I've lived in this neighborhood for 3yrs and the uptown restaurants have always had a hard time staying around.
I went in for HH for the $6 glasses of Prosecco and $1 oysters. The oysters were fresh and briney (just like I like them) and their display is super cute too.
I'll be back to try their brunch or dinner menu. The management did a good job reinventing this space. -

Great new restaurant with a cozy vibe, great food and friendly service.
Food. We came for Sunday brunch, which includes a Bloody Mary or mimosa. The Bloody Mary was very good, with a perfect little kick. The eggs Benedict is served with Avacado and was excellent, and the waffles with fruit and chicken on the side were also very tasty.
Service. Server had a great personality, and we also met the owner Jennifer who was very attentive and friendly, sharing her inspiration and vision of the restaurant portraying "fierce women" with strength.
Definitely recommend as a casual restaurant with friends or a date. -

Happy to have another spot on the UES to try out, but unfortunately we were underwhelmed by the food. Service was nice and friendly though.
We ordered the deviled eggs, the shakshuka, and the tempura chicken sandwich. The deviled eggs were the winner; simple but flavorful. The shakshuka was mixed; the stew itself was flavorful, and it's hard to mess up potatoes and bread, but the eggs seemed a bit overbaked (just looked like 2 dry egg yolks). The chicken sandwich was fine, but the chicken was a bit dry.
Convenient and quiet spot for a quick brunch, but we weren't blown away by the food. Maybe the late night bar option is better.
